Urgent Prayer Request

James grandfather, Jim Ed, is in the hospital with pneumonia. He has fluid on his lungs and they are having a hard time getting it off. We are not sure at this point how long he has been in the hospital. We just got a call this morning. James and his dad are going to drive to Dumas today to see him and be with the family. Please pray for their safe travel, but more importantly, please pray for Papa Jim's health to be restored to him. Thank you for your prayers. Love you all, Amanda

Overnight stays, 42, sickness, etc....

I thought it was probably time I updated. Last week was sooooo busy. I spent most of my week cleaning the house for our monthly 42 party. A bunch of us from church rotate houses every month, so at least I am not up again until September. James worked really hard on getting the new bathroom floor put down in the front bathroom before the event. He did get it done, but a toilet leak prevented us from using that bathroom anyway. Oh well..... We had 21 people here and had a really good time. I made egg rolls, Chinese chicken wings, stir fry, and chocolate dipped fortune cookies. Everyone else brought the other food and goodies.

Grammy and Papa came up Friday night and took the girls home with them to spend the night and the next day. Bethany did pretty well. Grammy said it was a rough night but not too terrible. We went up Saturday after the 42 party and spent the night and the next day at their house. Both of the kids were asleep when we got there, but they were glad to see us the next morning.

The illness in this house doesn't seem to end. Just when I think we are all better, some other bug pops up. Or maybe it's the same one.... I was sooooo sick yesterday. Puking, diarrhea, and feeling YUCK! I called James at 5 and he came home to take care of the kids. He even took the "baby duty" and let me sleep by myself all night. He even took care of Megan when she started puking in the middle of the night. What a great dad! I am feeling better today, she weak and tired. Megan has thrown up a couple of times today, but is up and playing as usual.

That's about all that is going on lately. Shai might be coming next week for her spring break. When she comes to stay in the summer, she always begs to go to the zoo. I always so no since it is so hot. So that will definitely be on our agenda if she gets to come. Dad's 60th birthday is coming up soon. Mom is going to have a party for him in OK. Stay tuned for details. The Isbell/Anderson reunion is also coming up in 11 weeks. We are getting excited about that. http://isbellanderson.blogspot.com Will post more later. I have to go separate my fighting girls now.....
